The Commission consists of a Chair; a Commissioner; and Non-Executive and Executive Directors. Their role will be to take forward the strategic aims of the Commission.
Janet Paraskeva
Chair
Janet is the First Civil Service Commissioner, the Chair of the Olympic Lottery Distributor and Chair of Trustees for Plan (Internationals) UK.
Previous roles include the Law Society’s Chief Executive from 2000 to 2006, Director for England of the National Lottery Charities Board, Chief Executive of the National Youth Agency, HM Inspector of Schools and a Non-Executive Director of the Serious and Organised Crime Agency.
Stephen Geraghty
Commissioner
Stephen was previously Chief Executive of the Child Support Agency, where he significantly improved the organisation’s performance. Prior to that, Stephen was Managing Director of a number of Direct Line Group companies and held directorships across several financial services companies.
